• This week we learned about how it is important that when creating a project that the fonts being used should be clear and easy for the viewer to read and understand.
• The size of the font is also important because it makes it easier to be able to understand.
• It is also important to use typographic scales to ensure that the contents of the product can be understood and read on any type of screen size.
• A product should also ensure that the functions are emphasized to make it clear that they are important.
• The typography being used in a product should also be relevant and relate to the content. An example of this would be in restaurant the typography that is used for the brand usually relates to the type of cuisine they are making.

The typography used in the heading of content could be unique and relevant to the content since the headings are usually a short piece of text. Whereas, the body of text should be a font that is easy to understand and read because if it is too much then the viewer will struggle to read it due to the strains on their eyes.

The first task of this lecture was to choose suitable typefaces for the content. To improve my task I could use the same typefaces for the author name and the chapter so then there wouldn’t be too many different fonts being used.

The anatomy of a system is important because if a system is confusing to get around then the user would have a negative experience putting a bad reputation on the brand. If a system has clear icons and buttons for the users to be able to know where to go.

The task we had to do was add the text from the last task into a iPhone frame instead of iPad frame. Similar to the last task I could improve by not using as many fonts.

Colour, Weight and Contrast is important when creating a project because if the colours didn’t compliment each other well then it wouldn’t make it appealing to the viewers but it also would make it more difficult to understand and read with there was a lot of writing. The weight of the text is also important because if there was a huge body of text written in bold then after a while it would strain the viewers eyes and make it more difficult for them to be able to read the content.

The next task we did was to add an image and colour into the previous tasks.
